DVSA has confirmed an anticipated restart date of 12 April 2021 for all classroom based periodic training in-line with the publication of the roadmap out of national lockdown. This includes in-vehicle and third-party classroom-based Driver CPC periodic training.
DVSA still encourages periodic training to be delivered remotely where possible to help restrict the spread of the virus.
DVSA anticipates lorry lessons and tests and theory testing will restart on the same date. Bus lessons and tests and module 4 testing should restart on 29 March. All of these dates are indicative and are subject to restrictions being eased as part of step one of the roadmap.
