Candidates will be able to understand Working Time Regulations and Drivers Hours
Regulations, manage their own hours, and keep appropriate hours records.
To give drivers a basic understanding of the need for safety checks and how they should be
carried out.
To identify what is meant by vulnerable road users and how they interact with traffic. To
understand the effects of using defensive driving techniques to share the road safely.
To give Drivers an understanding of disabilities, To inform them of different impairment groups,
To help them identify barriers to disabled groups, To help them identify solutions to these
barriers.
