Description
Candidates will have an understanding of the importance of not driving LGV and PCV vehicle using excessive speeds, the dangers and the destructive effects.
Candidates will participate in interactive discussion relating to spatial awareness, width, length and height. the related issues driving LGV and PCV vehicles in towns, country roads and motorways.
Candidates will learn the importance of wearing their seat belts, the fines that they can incur for not wearing and the effects of not wearing a seat belt during accidents.
Drivers will have an understanding of Hazard perception, understanding LADA, the distractions a driver may experience whilst driving and also how to prevent fatigue.
Drivers will be educated on the effects of fatigue.
Candidates will participate in an interactive discussion expressing their views on the effects of alcohol and drugs with regards to driving, all candidates will know the consequences of driving whilst under the influence
