Description
With regards to manual handling, the course looks at achieving the correct lifting techniques, the effects of poor practises and how (and why) injuries occur.
Additionally, the course examines what creates a fire and how to control fire hazards. It also looks at the different types of fire (including vehicle fires) and how to correctly handle them using the appropriate type of extinguisher.
