Description
Delegates will have the knowledge and certification to operate a lorry loader (Hiab), they would have reviewed the health and Safety Procedures, which also covers vehicle walk round checks, safe vehicle manoeuvring, correct preparation of the loader and surrounding areas ensuring that the loader understands their responsibilities and has knowledge of relevant regulation and legislation, including the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 and LOLER regulations part 1 and 2.
They will spend time in the classroom whilst practical training will also be undertaken at the vehicle covering the surrounding area, loader base, outrigger legs, loader body, boom system, valve system and controls.
There will also demonstrate their knowledge based multi choice and practical papers to complete during the day where the tutor can further engage with the group.
