Professional Driving - Alcohol Drugs

Description

By the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of good customer service and the importance of this in the transport industry.
We will also be looking at and challenging the delegates on being a professional driver, keeping up to date on new regulations, law and legislation, looking closely at the new Highway Code laws in particular, covering hierarchy of road users, vulnerable road users and road safety requirements.
They will also look at the effects of alcohol and drugs when driving and pay particular attention to changes in the law introduced in 2016 and the subsequent improvements in drug test wipe kits and local employers who carry out random drug testing with their drivers.
