Description
By the end of the course delegates will have an understanding of the journey to acquire a vocational Acquisition to their licence, the importance of looking after their licences, CPC cards and Digi card including recent changes to the LGV Test and licence acquirements introduced in December 2021, incorporating the requirement to protect their licence through an understanding of the restriction codes and regular on-line licence checks, incorporating 2 group sessions into
the morning session.
We will incorporate the driver's day into the session spending time on driver pre vehicle checks and safe loading, we will then focus on vehicle incidents and traffic police investigations into accidents and what this means for an HGV Driver including some video's on HGV fatal accidents where poor vehicle maintenance and poor loading have been a contributing factor to the accidents.
