Description
By the end of the training, the driver will be able to:
1. Describe and explain the principles and techniques of first aid.
2. Describe and explain dangers of fire when carrying dangerous goods and responsibilities and duties should they come across fire.
3. Demonstrate an understanding of the role and function of packaging in containing and protecting dangerous goods and the drivers responsibilities in recognising and demonstrating correct use of packaging during the transport operation.
4. Describe and explain the main hazards associated with one/two Class substances (depending on the class selected) and the particular aspects a driver must be aware of to ensure safe transport of this class(s).
