Description

On completion of this course drivers will be aware of the safety risks involved in the transport sector and how to assess emergency situations, in particular Road traffic events and the maintenance regime as defined in the Guide to Maintaining Road Worthiness.
The delegate will gain an awareness of how to prevent criminality, the trafficking of undocumented immigrants and illicit materials in relation to the carriage of passengers and goods.
Delegates will understand the principles and application of the regulations relevant to:
Health & Safety in the Workplace
Goods & Passenger Maintenance Systems and processes
Prevention of criminality in relation to clandestine entrants
Prevention of Bridge Strikes
Road risk and the highway code
Vulnerable Road Users.
