Description
On completion of this course delegates will be aware of changes to the operator licencing system, the commitments given by the Transport Manager and Operator and how the role of the driver can impact on these commitments.
Delegates will be aware of their responsibilities to the Traffic Commissioner or Transport Regulator, the Transport Operator and Transport Manager.
Delegates will gain an understanding of the principles and application of the regulations relevant to:
Operator licence application and maintenance, Drivers qualification and periodic training, Compliance with Drivers hours and working time regulations, Tachograph regulation, Driver licences and medical conditions affecting them as well as the updated requirements for Driver Testing and Training.
