Description
1) Be able to explain the specific knowledge necessary to transport dangerous goods in tanks in a safe manner
2) Be able to identify that the tanks they are using is correct for the load being transported.
3) Explain how to safely load and discharge goods from tanks
4) Demonstrate emergency procedures in the event of an accident which are appropriate to deal with the incidents involving dangerous goods in tanks
5) Confirm understanding that they will require further training from employers to attain industry standards of competence
6) Establish, via professional discussion, responsibilities with regard to the equipment associated with tank transport of dangerous goods
7) Be able to list which documents they must, as a legal requirement, carry when transporting dangerous goods
