Description
1. To welcome the students & introduce them to the course content & objectives, Health & Safety and other course/site rules as necessary.
2. To assist drivers & management within the Road Transport Industry to:
a) both drive & operate in a fuel efficient manner, thereby reducing emissions, improving profitability & reducing vehicle maintenance costs.
b) To promote driver development through selection, induction, training & assessment.
c) Introduction to Alternative Fuel Vehicles (AFV).
d) Refresh the knowledge of the Highway Code & understanding of road traffic signs & markings.
3. Give candidates the opportunity to ask questions & answer, summarise the day course content & complete course feedback form.
