M10 - Vulnerable Road Users

Description

To provide delegates with a thorough understanding of how to identify a vulnerable road user. The delegates will gain knowledge of how many accidents happen involving LGV/PCV vehicles and the cost of them. They will gain extensive knowledge of cyclists, aging and young drivers and their effects on accidents. The afternoon session will look at new technology and how to become a defensive driver. The course also includes the effects of alcohol and drugs. The course finishes with the delegate gaining a knowledge of hazards, highway code and the importance of daily vehicle checks.
