Description
The objectives of this course are to ensure the drivers are:
Able to state the drivers' hours rules that affect HGV drivers and complete manual entries.
Able to explain working time directive rules.
Able to understand what may happen if the rules and legislations are not followed.
Abe to understand how to share the road safely with other road users including those more vulnerable than themselves. Able to understand what you might check on your vehicle during the daily walkaround check, including the specific safety equipment fitted to protect VRUs.
Able to explain load safety and security.
Able to understand the Operator Licence undertakings.
Able to understand fixed penalty notices and graduated penalty charge notices.
