There is no provision under the "Vehicle Drivers (Certificates of Professional Competence) Regulations 2007" for the transfer of an existing approval to provide periodic training courses from one legal entity to another. An approval is not a negotiable asset and any changes of circumstance to the legal makeup of the centre should be reported to JAUPT without delay.

Failure to do so may mean that any training delivered is not approved and will not be accepted as an entry to the "R&E Database".

Similarly, if the approved entity ceases to trade, goes into liquidation or ceases to run Driver CPC for any reason, JAUPT should be notified in writing of these circumstances immediately.
